Daily: Reflections on Life, Faith, and Timeless Wisdom

This is the seventh time I’m doing this morning process. I’m not sure how long I’ll keep it up, but so far, it’s been somewhat helpful for me.

Listen to the Deep Dive:

1. Words to remember: creative breakthroughs.

2. Don’t burn the candle at both ends.

3. This too shall pass: I once told someone, “This is just temporary,” and it completely changed how they saw their situation for the better. At the time, they were feeling stuck, and those simple words gave them hope. But I also remember saying the same thing to someone else who didn’t take it well. They refused to see things differently, and the words didn’t have the same effect.

4. If you believe in abundance, life tends to give you more of it.

5. Give first, no matter what your circumstances are.

6. Let go of the past and let yourself be carried forward by the flow of life.

7. Luke 2:10-11: And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

8. I love this phrase: “I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.” Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we had more news like that in our lives?

9. Christmas is such a special time for families to come together, reflect on the past year, and be reminded to seek God and His Spirit. That said, the Bible doesn’t mention a specific date for Jesus’ birth, and it’s unlikely to be December 25. According to Scripture, Jesus didn’t ask us to celebrate His birth but did tell us to remember His death through the Lord’s Supper.

10. In the Book of Genesis, Adam’s primary occupation was tending and caring for the Garden of Eden. God placed him in the garden to “work it and take care of it” (Genesis 2:15). This role involved stewardship over the land and its creatures.
